The project consists of transporting a Ore Reclaimer dismantling that will be assembled and installed at the VALE unit in São Luis/MA, where the Hansa Meyer Global was elected by FLSMIDTH as the company responsible for highly complex parts due to its very excess dimensions.
The loads entrusted to Hansa Meyer add up to 20 pieces with varying dimensions and weights, totaling 525 tons and a cubic footage of 4,490 cubic meters. The most complex part has the following dimensions: L 18.098 x W 6.980 x H 5.423 (mm) with 36.9 tons. The heaviest piece has 63 tons.
The loads were collected in 02 manufacturing units, one in Vespasiano in Greater Belo Horizonte and another in Conselheiro Lafaeite, both in the State of Minas Gerais and should travel approximately 3,000 km. It will be necessary to remove or raise signs/porticos and crossings of municipalities along the route, as well as dismantle toll plazas and transshipments to overcome vertical obstacles (viaducts).
